Purple Sword, earning its notorious name, has literal sword like purple leaves. This tropical houseplant loves humid environments with indirect bright light. They do not like continuously wet soil, but do like to be watered often. Avoid peat moss when planting in new containers. Since peat moss acts like a sponge, it is better to add elements such as basic potting soil with a mix of orchid bark or small wood chips to help with soil draining properly.
